Social Science is one of the most important subjects in Class 10. It is considered to be so important because students have to choose their paths amongst either of the subjects which are Social science also called Arts Stream/humanities, Science or commerce. Students who are interested in Social Science take up Humanities as their stream for the further studies in higher secondary classes which are 11th and 12 th and others who are interested in commerce or science take them as their respective Streams. There is a lot to explore in Social Science and has a lot to teach if somebody really takes the subject seriously. The other reason why it is important for the students to study Social science so seriously is because of the vast syllabus it offers for the class 10th. Not only does it give it marks if you study it properly but also gives you knowledge about different aspects of day to day life, history of the country and how your country works. So all in all even if you are not going to take up humanities as your stream in the future you have to be conscious about what you're studying up to class 10th to be up to date about what is happening around you and what has happened in the future.
